Signs from Spirit are unique to and specifically for each person. Something that registers as a sign for you will not be the same as what would catch my attention. While each sign has the potential to lead to a special message, there are categories of signs that the other side uses regularly which many of us recognize – angel numbers, animals & nature, symbols & images, music, electronics, spoken words, etc. The purpose of this series is to introduce you to the different categories of signs and provide you with tools you can use to increase your communication with Spirit. My hope is that, at the end of this series, you will be able to describe the different categories of signs and develop your own language of signs to communicate with the other side.
What is a Sign?
Signs can be confusing. When you don’t normally pay attention to your surroundings or attempt to communicate with Spirit, you will second guess yourself and question whether something is a sign. This why it is easy for others to discount signs or claim that things are simply a coincidence. Many will say that you are attaching meaning to something that doesn’t have any meaning. But here’s the simple truth: the easiest way to determine if something is a sign or not is if it means something to you. If the cardinal flying over your head reminds you of your grandmother and puts a smile on your face, then it is a sign. You received a message. The cardinal served its purpose, regardless of whether another person claims it was just a bird that is common to the area where you live. It doesn’t matter what that other person thinks, because the sign was for you and only you.
This is what makes signs from Spirit so interesting and unique. While one person sees a cardinal flying around and they think nothing of it, another person has a smile on their face because they know that their loved one is sending a message. Signs from Spirit come in different ways with meanings that are exclusive to each person. Spirit uses people, animals, things that are all readily available to the area where you currently are to send you a sign. It requires a tremendous amount of energy and effort to provide signs and send messages, which is why they aren’t always clear or glaringly in your face. The thing is that Spirit doesn’t give up. So, while you may have missed the first few signs, eventually a pattern will appear that catches your attention. The signs continue until the message is received and acknowledged.
